Sunday mornings
We invite you to join our family-friendly worship at 10am on Sundays.
During the service:
Babies
Babies and toddlers are welcome in church. There is a corner at the back of the church with toys for them.
Sunday School
For children 3 years old to Year 8. The children are actively involved in the first part of the church service where they are introduced to the lesson of the day. Then they leave for Sunday School where they do fun activities to reinforce the day’s theme.
Youth Group
For those in year 9 and over. Sundays during term time. Starts at 10am in church. Includes food and a variety of activities.
Music
Songs and hymns range from NZ contemporary to traditional, selected to complement the worship theme. Accompaniment is with pipe organ or digital piano.
Communion
Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month at the usual service time of 10am.
All are welcome.
Foodbank
We support the Upper Hutt Food Bank with contributions each Sunday.
After the service:
Morning Tea
A morning tea, following the service each Sunday provides a chance to get to know each other.
Shared Lunch
A shared lunch follows the morning tea on the second Sunday of every month. We bring food to share, but even if someone forgets the food, there is always enough to go around. Sharing food is an important part of our church’s fellowship.
